Service History

The wooden two masted schooner Luna was built in 1862 at Eagle Harbor, Green Bay, Wisconsin by Peterson. In 1874 the vessel was valued at $800 and rated B2 by the Board Of Lake Underwriters.
Final Voyage

"Green Bay, Wis., Sept.28, 1895,--The little schooner Luna, wood laden, went ashore on Long Tail point to-day. The tug Charnley attempted to release her, but gave up the undertaking after pulling part of the bow out of the stranded boat. The Luna will go to pieces in the first northeast blow." Milwaukee Sentinel 9/29/1895
