Final Voyage

"Ashore.-A small schooner named the P. Dolan, loaded with lumber and fruit, and bound for Milwaukee, came ashore on Friday night last, on the point south of the lighthouse. The captain informs us that she was waterlogged for forty-eight hours before she came ashore-she got off yesterday morning, and is now lying in the harbor, sunk." Milwaukee Sentinel 9/16/1857
