Service History

"The Mayflower Jr. ferried people from Juneau Park to South Shore Beach in 1930's. Was to be converted to gasoline but was abandoned in the river at Becher Street." Wisconsin's Lake Michigan Shipwrecks Algoma to Kenosha, Brendon Baillod

The Mayflower Jr. was built in 1913 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin and her registry number was 211304.
Final Voyage

The rear paddle wheel passenger steamer Mayflower Jr. was abandoned at Milwaukee in August of 1940. The area was later dredged and the hull may have been removed.
