Final Voyage

Daisy apparently went ashore in September 1876 near Foscoro (a lumber town five miles north of Algoma) and was a total loss.

"The captain of the schooner Venture reported seeing a small schooner ashore at Stoney Creek, going to pieces. She was later identified in a Chicago Tribune article and was described as a total loss." Wild Gales and Tattered Sails, Paul J. Creviere, Jr.
