Wisconsin's Underwater Treasures Museum Exhibit
The Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc is hosting a brand new exhibit open from 14 March 2015 thru 15 April 2016, featuring Wisconsin's underwater treasures. The exhibit will feature shipwrecks from each of the four maritime communities around the area: Port Washington, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and Two Rivers.

The exhibit is scheduled to be extended through April 2016 and will be expanded over the summer to include more shipwrecks of the proposed National Marine Sanctuary in Wisconsin waters.

Aerial Shipwreck Discoveries off Rawley Point
1PM - Wisconsin Maritime Museum.

A co-presentation by Two Rivers' resident and ultralight pilot, Suzze Johnson, and Wisconsin Historical Society's Maritime Archaeologist, Tamara Thomsen about five new shipwrecks recently discovered from the air. Suzze Johnson and Tamara Thomsen's unique collaboration of discovery and identification began in 2013. Suzze will discuss challenges and inspiration gained from flying over the coastline of Manitowoc County and Tamara will identify, tell the histories, and explain the importance of these amazing shipwreck discoveries. Their partnership has lead to the nomination of each of these historically significant shipwrecks to the State and National Register of Historic Places.
