Great Lakes Shipwreck Research Foundation (GLSRF).  Contains several shipwreck databases. GLSRF divers are actively involved in documenting Wisconsin’s historic shipwrecks. The GLSRF also sponsors of the annual Ghost Ships Festival in Milwaukee, Wis.

Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum  Operated by the Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., which was founded in 1978 to preserve the lore and artifacts of the Great Lakes. The museum features the bell of the ill-fated laker, the Edmund Fitzgerald.
