Final Voyage

The yacht Aldena was traveling upstream on the Mississippi River from Chicago to St. Paul and at 5:30 a.m. It was anchored at the Guttenburg Locks when the gasoline engine backfired, causing the yacht to catch on fire. The two crew members got off the boat safely, but the Aldena was destroyed.
