Final Voyage

From the Advocate dated Saturday, January 7,1899:"Oct. 13--The fishing tug Leo, of Kenosha, went ashore at South Milwaukee during a heavy blow and the crew escaped in the yawl. The Leo was on her way to Milwaukee to go into dock to have a leak stopped, but in the storm the leak became so bad that the captain beached her. The crew consisted of four men."

The Leo's boiler was scrapped and the steam engine was later installed in the tug A.A.C. Tessler
