Description
The National Brewery Museum and Library is located on the site of the Potosi Brewery. The museum features historic beer and brewing memorabilia, including signs, advertisements, bottles, cans, and miscellaneous paraphernalia. Includes historic images of the riverboat Potosi and a description of its use to haul beer down the Mississippi. As the Potosi headed downriver, fishermen would paddle out to meet it to purchase beer during its journey.
