Description
Park on the river with a memorial to the Sea Wing riverboat disaster. Historic marker reads: 'Home port here it capsized in Lake Pepin killing 98 of the 215 people aboard 22 of them from WI. The disaster ranks as one of Wisconsins worst transportation disasters. Occurred on 13 July 1890 ranks among the worst disasters on the inland waterways.'
