Service History

The wooden two masted schooner Evaline was built in 1861 by H. Litchfield in Blendons Landing, Michigan. The vessel was valued at $12,500 and rated A1.

In 1874/1875 the vessel was valued at $8,000 and rated B1.

1876: New deck.

1880: Rebuilt

1890: Bottom Recaulked

September 26, 1895: Sprang a leak, waterlogged, capsized off Kewaunee in a gale and fog. Reached Kewaunee on September 28th.

May 12, 1897: Last enrolled in Milwaukee.
Final Voyage

Abandoned 1901 At the Sturgeon Bay boneyard.
